Johanna Poems
Teasing Reflections
Gossamer, misty, moonlit clouds
enmesh and enfold a tantalizing
white nippled breast …
seductively pulsing through and over,
seeming to offer itself,
while both illuminating and reflecting
with vibrating light
that which seems to conceal it.
1970, Penang
J’s comment 2022: I like it. Filled with eros, like a playful dance It works as an analogy and on multiple levels….lovely images, almost like the moon playing hide-and-seek with the clouds (and us!) . Definitely to put up. Love, love, J
Fireworks
Thrusting arc of light
a tadpole semen swimming upward
into the womb of the sky..
Exploding color and energy,
orgasmic connection
Tender twinkling beauty in the aftermath
a glowing weeping willow falling to earth
a grace note of warmth vanishing into darkness
lighting our hearts
J comment (2022): Wow this is beautiful very sensual and at the same time hopeful about light in the world. I love it, Put it up for sure! Love, J

Yearning, deep hunger to pull them apart

To grasp you deeply into me

You silly
Co-created phantom
Let us dance together
Under a canopy of candy clouds soft white
Who I Hug When I Hug Johanna
by D Shapiro
In the dream she is wearing a backpack,
proud bangs, reddish brown toned,
curly ringlets and waves cascade long over her shoulders.
A yellow shawl, long jean covered legs.
I know the eyes, the chin a little down and angled, the
eyes looking up, shy, yes, but blue sky joy.
I stroke that hair and kiss those eyes.
The Dance – a Poem with Commentary

sweat streaming off smiling faces
She, reddish hair, swinging over brown eyes,
coyishly returning to greet
I, boyishly laughing, throwing my arms
high, spinning faster;
