Values Class

This is a values class taught doing my first year as a graduate student. The Stanford Master’s Program in Counseling Psychology had an overarching theme of integration and  dialogue between different races. A fellow student  Elliot, who was black, and I decided to work together to develop and teach the class.   The goal of the class was to give students an opportunity amidst their academic course work , to take a step back and explore  their larger goals, their view and relationship to themselves, to others, to nature, to society—looking both at “what is” and what they would like to see changed.
