Blues Boogie Mama is a song I wrote for a jazz improvisation class I took at Jr college in 2002. It was my first intro to all the minor and major scales and then how to “riff” on them. It is in key of e flat major with a,b, and e flats! Omm….Although it was to be an “improv” I remembered what my lawyer Grandfather once told me, that the best spontaneous closing arguments are ones that you had practiced and rehearsed a lot! For weeks I practiced this improv piece.
I wanna play the Blues Boogie mama (repeat 2x !) …but the bebop pentatonic chords and scales and key shifts ….are driving me crazy (driving me crazy) with improv chord changes 😉
I wanna play the Blues Boogie mama flute + sing
Flute only for second part…. but the bebop pentatonic chords and scales and key shifts ….are driving me crazy
Driving me crazy a wee bit of improve + singing for the last words
